Becoming a Salesforce Developer
Anastasia has always been passionate about engineering and technology. She studied Information Communication Engineering and Information Security at university and then spent a year in programming school. This experience gave her a head start in her professional career, as she found her passion for coding. When she learned about Salesforce two years ago, she decided that this is the right path for her, and she became a Salesforce Developer.
A day in the life of a Salesforce Developer
A standard work day for Anastasia starts with a scrum call with her team, during which they update each other on the ongoing projects and share their goals for the day. This is followed by a quick employee meeting to greet new team members and congratulate those who have gotten a new Salesforce certificate recently. Once her daily calls are done, she can move on to the coding part of her day.
Anastasia has a very structured way of working on projects. First, she checks how the code is built, what patterns are used, and how she can implement any changes properly. Then she deploys the changes and QA checks them to see if they are user-friendly. Later on, she finishes her day with a team meeting where she shares her progress.
After her busy day is over, she can finally spend time playing with her dog and teaching him new tricks. Apart from this, she likes to stay productive even during her free time! “I love learning new languages and studying science in my free time”, she shared.
Challenges are the way to grow
Before her career at Aquiva Labs, Anastasia had experience with smaller and simpler projects. Now, she has greater responsibilities and works on complex projects. Although it can be challenging sometimes, she believes that this helps her grow professionally.
“I also love the challenges that I get because it’s the only way to grow — meet the obstacles and resolve them”, she shared.
As a real tech-savvy person, Anastasia finds learning how things are built quite fun and fascinating. The most rewarding part of her job is that what she does can help others in their daily work.

Anastasia believes that being creative in your work and finding different ways to approach tasks can help you develop your problem-solving skills and critical thinking. “Explore different ways and don’t be afraid to improvise and fail sometimes”, she added.
