Employee Spotlight: Daiana Andion

Spotlight on Salesforce Administrator Daiana Andion

This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Daiana Andion, Salesforce Administrator, a great example of what it means to be Focused on Results. Daiana’s journey, passion for learning, and commitment to delivering real value make her an inspiring part of our team,

Can you share a bit about your background and what brought you to Aquiva?

I joined Aquiva about a year and a half ago, coming from a completely different field. I was a travel agent before working with Salesforce. My team used Salesforce, and one day my boss asked me to do some Trailheads and help customize our org. That’s how I became an “accidental admin.”

I really enjoyed working with Salesforce, so I decided to move into a more focused role. My next job was mostly support, which meant I didn’t have a chance to explore the platform as much as I wanted.

One day, our recruiter, Lucas, contacted me on LinkedIn about the opportunity at Aquiva, and I felt it was the perfect chance to grow.

When I joined, I didn’t even have a certification yet, but my managers, Fede and Rocio, believed in me and gave me the opportunity. I’m very grateful for that. Since then, I’ve learned so much, not only from Trailheads and hands-on work, but especially from my colleagues. They guide me, share their experience, and help me grow every day.

What has been one of your most memorable experiences or achievements in Aquiva?

One of my most memorable experiences was a big client project that started last November. It was supposed to be quick, but the scope kept changing, and we had to pause and restart, which made the whole process challenging.

Despite the unexpected issues and stressful moments, our team managed to make it all work, and the client was really happy, which was incredibly rewarding. They’ve now renewed their support contract for the third time, which really shows how much they trust our work.

Remembering my stressful 24/7 job in the travel industry, it felt amazing to finally work with people who are kind, supportive, and always ready to help. It made this achievement even more meaningful.

This time, we're highlighting the core value of "Focused on Results”. How do you personally connect with this value, and why do you believe it is essential?

I connect with “Focused on Results” because, to me, it’s not just about finishing tasks, it’s about making sure the customer truly gets value from what we deliver. Many times, clients ask for something very specific because that’s how they imagine the solution. But with our knowledge, we often see a better or more efficient way to achieve what they need.

So being focused on results means not just giving them exactly what they asked for, but giving them something that actually improves their platform and their overall experience.

What advice would you give to others about incorporating a “Focused on Results” approach into their daily work?

Being focused on results isn’t just about meeting deadlines or doing exactly what the client asks for — it’s about giving them a positive experience throughout the whole process. The main goal is to keep the client happy, not only with the final outcome but also with how you get there.

A “Focused on Results” mindset starts with remembering the impact we have on the client. Being proactive is key. When you stay one step ahead and share updates before the client has to ask, they feel taken care of, safe, and confident in your work. This builds trust and shows reliability.

Even if you can’t finish something right away, keeping clients informed makes a huge difference. Good communication prevents confusion, strengthens collaboration, and builds strong relationships. And this doesn’t apply only to clients. Being communicative and proactive with colleagues also helps everyone work better together.

When clients feel supported and informed, they know they can rely on us — that’s what keeps them coming back.

What are some of the hobbies or interests you enjoy outside of work?

Outside of work, I really enjoy sports, especially swimming and Pilates. But above everything, I love traveling.

I also enjoy quieter activities, like making puzzles. It might sound strange, but puzzles really help me relax. Another big interest of mine is learning languages. I speak Spanish and English, and I’ve also learned Portuguese and French. Right now, I’m taking my first steps in German.

I love learning languages because it makes traveling even more enjoyable. When I visited Germany a couple of years ago, I had to use Google Translate just to shop at the supermarket, so I decided it was time to learn the language. I enjoy being able to understand what’s happening around me and communicate with people in their own language.

Is there a fact that might surprise your colleagues?

I moved to New Zealand when I was 24 without speaking a word of English. I worked in many different jobs — from packing kiwifruit and avocados to working in a restaurant, and even as a baker for a while. During that time, I learned English simply by listening and repeating, which was an amazing experience.

And fun fact: even though I lived in New Zealand, I never visited any Lord of the Rings filming locations, I didn’t even watch the movies!

What is one thing you’ve learned at Aquiva that you think everyone should know?

One thing I’ve learned at Aquiva is how essential teamwork is. Working together is the key to succeeding with clients, solving problems, and learning every day. Another important lesson is to stay curious. Continuing to learn, explore new ideas, and take on new challenges is the best way to keep growing.

And finally, I’ve learned how motivating it is to work in a place where your effort is truly recognized and valued. Some colleagues have asked me how I’ve managed to earn so many certifications, and honestly, it’s because of the environment here. At Aquiva, people are always learning, sharing new industry trends, and motivating each other. That energy keeps me inspired to keep growing.

It’s not just about collecting certifications — it’s about continuous learning. And that’s one of the greatest values the company gives its employees: the encouragement and support to keep developing every single day.

At Aquiva, you will work inside a culture that treats curiosity, discipline, and transparency as non-negotiable. People here push boundaries, master their craft, and back each other so clients get outcomes that hold up under pressure.
