At Aquiva Labs, the core value of “Focused on Results” is not just a guiding principle but a mindset that drives success in every project. For Project Manager Elena Danylevska, this value is deeply embedded in her approach to client satisfaction. With a passion for understanding client needs and a value-oriented approach, Elena’s commitment to achieving measurable outcomes has been key to her role at Aquiva Labs.
In this spotlight, we dive into how Elena connects with this core value and why it’s essential in her work.
Can you share a bit about your background and what brought you to Aquiva Labs?
Before joining Aquiva Labs, I spent five years as a project manager. Most of my experience has been in web development, but I also worked with Salesforce. After relocating to the U.S., I was looking for new opportunities and had already heard great things about Aquiva Labs from ex-colleagues who had become part of the Aquiva team.
What truly stood out to me was the connection I felt during my interviews. From my first conversation with my future manager, I knew this was more than just a job opportunity—it was a cultural and personal fit. The whole interview process, including three stages, reinforced that feeling. They were welcoming, supportive, and genuinely interested in my background.
For me, cultural fit and strong communication are essential in a work environment. Being connected with my manager and team helps solve challenges and navigate high-pressure situations. At Aquiva Labs, I immediately felt that sense of connection, making my decision to join an easy one.
What has been one of your most memorable experiences or achievements in Aquiva?
For me, the biggest achievement is when a client chooses to continue working with us after a successful project. I’ve seen this happen many times, especially with Co-Innovation projects, where we assess clients’ architecture and product. After that, they often decide to extend the collaboration, which is a great sign that we’re delivering real value.
Recently, we completed a project where the client extended our engagement for several months. Moments like these reinforce that we’re doing it right—not just providing a service, but building strong relationships and trust.
I also collaborate closely with the sales team, so I get firsthand insights into client feedback and future opportunities. It’s always exciting to hear that a client wants to continue working with us, and I love sharing this news with the team. It’s a great way to recognize everyone’s efforts and celebrate our collective success. We win as a team!
One of our core values is "Focused on results”. How do you personally connect with this value, and why do you believe it is essential?
For me, being focused on results is one of the key principles of a project manager’s role. While teams concentrate on their daily tasks, my job is to see the bigger picture and ensure we achieve the project’s overall goals. Metrics like scope, budget, and timelines are important, but true success is measured by customer satisfaction.
Each project is unique—sometimes clients need deliverables, and sometimes they need guidance on roadmaps or even support in shaping their vision. Understanding their specific needs and leveraging the right expertise within our team is essential. We have talented professionals across different areas of Salesforce, and being able to connect the right people to the right challenges is a big part of ensuring success.
Customer satisfaction is the ultimate measure of success. It’s not just about completing tasks—it’s about finding the right solutions, adapting to challenges, and creating real value for the client. That’s what being results-focused means to me.
What advice would you give to others about incorporating a "Focused on results" approach into their daily work?
Taking ownership beyond your immediate tasks is key to being truly results-focused. It’s not just about completing assignments but understanding how your work impacts the bigger picture. When you take initiative, suggest improvements, and contribute beyond your role, both your team and clients notice the difference.
In today’s competitive environment, delivering high-quality work isn’t just about writing code or completing tasks—it’s about bringing extra value.
What are some of the hobbies or interests you enjoy outside of work?
I love traveling, baking, and dancing. Baking is something I really enjoy, though I try to limit it for health reasons! Dancing has been a passion since childhood.
Currently, I’m part of a dance studio, and the level of skill there is incredible—many of the dancers are professionals. It’s inspiring to see how passion and profession can align in ways I hadn’t seen before.
What is one thing you’ve learned at Aquiva Labs that you think everyone should know?
One of the most valuable things I’ve learned at Aquiva Labs is the power of multicultural teams. We have team members from different regions, cultures, and backgrounds, yet we all share similar professional values and attitudes. Despite the geographic distance and cultural differences, it’s amazing how people with the same goals and work ethic can connect on such a deep level. This experience has taught me that in today’s world, there are fewer boundaries than we might think, and shared values truly bring people together.
Is there a skill/talent/fun fact that might surprise your colleagues?
A fun fact that often surprises my American colleagues is that I didn’t get my driver’s license until I was in my 30s! In Europe, it’s more common to rely on public transportation, but in the U.S., having a car is pretty much a necessity. It’s funny because when I share this with people here, they’re often shocked—driving is something most Americans start doing as teenagers!
In addition, I’ve always been interested in languages. I studied both English and French throughout high school and university. While I don’t speak French fluently, I can still read and understand it. During a trip to Paris, I noticed how the locals would continue speaking French even when I tried to use English, which was a fun experience!
