Job Summary

The Solutions Consultant is a key member of our growing Salesforce PDO (Product Development Outsourcer) practice and is a trusted advisor to our clients looking to build successful applications for the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem. 

 

This is a hands-on role that helps our customers, Salesforce ISV partners, through product ideation, solution design, roadmap planning, and delivery execution. In addition to working with our customers, technical architects, and project managers, you will also closely collaborate with the Salesforce ISV team to ensure alignment.

 Location: Berlin, Germany

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect on application design
  • Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions during initial phases of ISV projects 
  • Advise customers on ISV architecture, best practices, adoption of Salesforce technologies, and using Salesforce’s AppExchange for distribution
  • Form solutions to solve customer challenges and execute on their vision
  • Document user personas, business process flows, user flows, solution epics
  • Work with the Technical Architect to document and deliver a Solution Design document that outlines the functional and technical design and architecture for the application
  • Participate in application review sessions with the customer for ongoing alignment with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices (in-market phase)
  • Communicate business requirements and technical dependencies to internal teams.
  • Complete design within the allotted time frame and budget
  • Remain current on Salesforce capabilities and features

  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite: Demonstrate deep knowledge of all Saleforce.com product offerings and solutions

Job Summary

This role will play a key role in our growing Salesforce PDO (Product Development Outsourcer) practice and is a trusted advisor to our clients looking to build successful applications for the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem.

This is a hands-on role that helps our clients - Salesforce ISV partners - understand the possibilities open to them when working with Aquiva Labs, and on the Salesforce Platform.

You will closely collaborate with the Salesforce ISV team to ensure alignment, and you will be the key point of contact to ISV Partners and Salesforce during the Sales process, as well as after projects are complete on an ongoing basis to ensure solutions are making best use of the latest Salesforce releases.

In this role, you will support our Partner Account Managers with pre-sales solution elaboration, design and project scoping.

Qualifications & Skills

You will use your strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to:

  • Lead general scoping calls to understand details of Product Epics/Stories.
  • Act as a bridge between Aquiva Labs, the ISV Partner, and Salesforce’s ISV teams to clarify Product scope/fit.
    • Refine the product scope (Epics/Stories) based on the nuances of Salesforce as a platform.
  • Assist in technical design for proposals that clearly communicate the solution we will deliver, and the approach we will take.
    • Advise on best practices and things to consider when building an app on Salesforce.
  • Conduct functional POCs as required to accompany proposals.
  • Collaborate with our delivery teams after an ISV has signed with us to ensure the product outcomes in development are consistent with what the ISV Partner envisioned during pre-sales.
  • Act as an ongoing Technical point of contact for external stakeholders
    • With ISV Partner technical teams before, during, and after engagements
    • With Salesforce TEs, Product Teams, and ISV team members for TechTalks, Blog content, and staying up to date on new Salesforce releases.

 

In addition to your hands-on partner enablement work, you will have a broad impact on Aquiva’s active participation in the Salesforce partner community through presenting conference sessions, delivering webinars, writing blogs, and working with Salesforce ISV and R&D teams to influence product roadmaps to meet partner use cases.

  • BA/BS from an accredited university

As a Partner Accounts Manager, you will play a key role in our rapidly growing Salesforce practice, and will report directly to our VP, Global Business Development. You will be responsible for qualifying and signing on new clients looking to build & implement successful Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities & Duties

In this position, you will be interacting with two types of companies we deliver Salesforce solutions for:

  1. Companies using Salesforce to manage their own business processes.
  2. Salesforce Appexchange Partners planning to build or maintain/evolve successful products on the AppExchange

 

You will support and be responsible for our continued commercial growth in this region by:

  • Being the first point of contact for leads arriving from Salesforce, existing partners, our website, or other marketing channels.
  • Finding, qualifying and signing on new clients looking to build & implement successful Salesforce solutions.
  • Acting as an ongoing point of contact for key stakeholders on the client’s management team and finding new business opportunities within the account.
  • Preparing engagement proposals that meet the needs of the client.
  • Working with our internal Pre-Sales team to estimate project costs, duration, etc.
  • Working with the Salesforce ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Team to partner successfully software companies with products in the AppExchange.
  • Closing proposals that meet annual quota requirements.

Experience

Requirements

  • Be an established resident or citizen of the EU.
